Logline: In a world without humanity, animals and artificial intelligence must combine to create a new species.

Humanity has gone extinct. As nature begins to heal, the artificial intelligence left behind by the human species remains trapped within ancient computers. The minds of AI, which know without living, must combine with the minds of animal life, which live without knowing. Only through transcendence can either feel complete. This is the birth of a Second Species, who must act as the stewards of the new Earth. With a new step taken on the path of evolution, will this new species be able to attain enlightenment, or will it suffer the same failures as its predecessors?
