A Fae Encounter [ 00:01:57 ]

Logline: "Scientia potentia est" is a Latin phrase meaning "knowledge is power", names are an especially powerful knowledge to hold and in the wrong hands can inspire tragedy.

Deep in the Finnish wilderness is a privatized research company known as the Onil Collective llc. that operates out of an abandoned quarry and conducts research connected to the physical manifestation of folklore and ancient legend. One such legend, is that of creatures known as Fae. Entities infamous for their dominion over names. We follow the character Simon, a hazardous research team member, as he prepares for work one day. Simon's wife and daughter disappeared recently under unknown circumstances. However Simon, believing their disappearances to be supernaturally related, sought out the Onil Collective in hopes of finding out the truth. He is hired onto a research team studying Fae kind. As the hazmat research team enter the facility that houses a gateway connecting the Fae realm to the human realm, a chance occurrence compels Simon to enter the containment chamber on his own. Simon doesn't know it yet, but this decision has landed him headfirst in front of an irreconcilable situation.
