Logline: Four Type 1 diabetic student athletes on the RIT lacrosse team navigate the unique challenges of managing their condition while competing in collegiate lacrosse.

Sugar Boys follows four student athletes who consistently overcome the intense physical and mental challenges of balancing their athletics with managing their diabetes. The film begins with an introduction to each of the athletes, highlighting their diagnosis and experiences as T1D athletes. The film then follows the four boys prepare for and compete in high-stakes lacrosse games. Themes of resilience, camaraderie, and the power of choice are explored.
