Logline: Despite humanity’s sudden disappearance, the worlds we have left behind still flourish with life and mystery.

The universe is a feral, chaotic place; a foreign wilderness, untamable and unconquerable; it is one that we are preparing to venture into with determination, and courage. However, these tenets are our own; they are meaningless to the distant stars that we aim for. It must, at some point, become evident that humanity was not designed to thrive anywhere among the stars. Now, the human race is extinct- crushed beneath the strain of expansion. The planets originally settled during humanity’s diaspora lay abandoned, all traces of our civilization eroding into ruin and dust; the cosmic ecosystem swallows our collective remains. This is not the future we once dreamt of. And yet, those hopeful, naive dreams of that now-ancient era still echo across the galaxy, for any who choose to intercept them.
