Logline: A young bird must figure out how to cross a stream with his family despite his inability to fly.

A family of birds approaches a stream. The mother leads with a graceful flight over to the other side. The first young bird follows suit gracefully. The second shows off impressive flight skills. The third is terribly clumsy, but makes it over nonetheless. The fourth, noticeably different in appearance, hesitates in fear. Ultimately trying to take flight, the bird fails and falls into the stream. Flailing in the water, the bird realizes it is naturally buoyant and swims to the family happily. The family hugs.
