Logline: An exploration of how people who have immigrated to the United States and how they keep their culture alive.

Keeping Culture is an exploration of how people from other countries celebrate and share their culture from their country of origin while living in the United States. I am following four subjects from four separate countries; Syria, Poland, Lithuania, and Bangladesh. Each subject has their own reasoning for coming to the United States, as well as if they are going to stay. In this documentary I am focusing not only on how they took pieces of their homeland with them, but also the why and how they came to be in the United States, by choice or necessity. Since I have subjects from four different countries I want to understand how they all ended up living in the same country.
